Controllers

Common controller types in FRC include Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and other third-party USB gamepads. These controllers are often called “gamepads.” Since 2020, we typically have a driver and a co-driver, each with their own controller, working together to perform tasks. The controllers we currently use are Xbox One controllers, and each controller can be configured in the ButtonMap class, where we are able to set what each button does to a macro, or an operation.
